Whether you pitch a tent, park up in a caravan or cruise in with your motorhome, Somerset DA welcomes you with open arms. Young or old, families, couples or solo adventurers – everyone finds a place (and plenty of friendly faces) with us. In fact, our warm and welcoming atmosphere often draws campers from far beyond Somerset!
We’ve been bringing people together through the joy of camping for over 50 years.
Somerset DA organises a variety of weekend meets and Temporary Holiday Sites (THSs) all year round. From peaceful green field escapes to some of the best independent commercial sites, there’s something for everyone. And we don’t just stick to Somerset – we explore the beauty of many other surrounding counties, too.
What makes our meets extra special? It's not just the fantastic locations or the friendly faces – it's the whole ethos. These events are run by campers, for campers, meaning the focus is always on community, affordability, and fun. Plus, they’re often much cheaper than traditional commercial sites (even when we use those sites!).
